Meeting Minutes January 15, 2022
EAA Chapter 1167
Old Business:
Considering combining our November fly-in with the skydive people (Drop Zone) from PA - Doug Floyd
the hospitality people could be an advocate to get this pushed in through the county administrators
New Business:
Sponsoring a youth to Air Academy - $1605 tuition ($305 credit from our YE activities) plus transportation to Oshkosh.
Teaches 15 hours of ground school, metal work, wood work, then maintenance.
The chapter is willing to provide the tuition and write a half-page introduction / present themselves to the chapter for selection to attend.
Oshkosh is July 25 - 31 (Doug has three rooms reserved but only needs one if someone would like to join) $135 / day
Sun-n-fun will be April 5 - 10 (Contact Larry if you want a camp site and he can stake your claim for you.)
If you're able to commit a few hours of work to the event Larry can probably get you admission as compensation.
There are new forms for the YE events
